Suani & Luke married at Mudbrick in March 2012 and have recently been featured in the latest NZ Weddings Magazine. Suani say’s “Waiheke’s Mudbrick Vineyard and Restaurant set a rustic scene, and the gardens inspired our colour theme of lavender, ivory, sage green and blush pink. Two adjoining surrounding outdoor areas and sweeping views of the Hauraki Gulf showcased Auckland’s beauty to Luke’s family visiting from the UK.”
“Vicki at Wildflower Waiheke brought Mudbrick to life with nostalgic bunches of dahlias, lisianthus, tweedia and roses. She tied them to the chairs at the ceremony and placed them in vintage vases alongside tea lights on our dining tables.”
“While living in London, I fell in love with two vintage dresses and, unable to choose, opted to wear them both. For the ceremony I wwore and ivory, long-sleeved silk number with button detailing and a simple train, and I slipped into a 1930s lilac lace dress for the reception. I finished my look with rhinestone earrings from Victorian Gilt and a Johanna Johnson headpiece.”
